Northern Woods Retreat
Category: north woods daniel mason

With school out for the summer, Emma Richards, a first-grade teacher, is craving a break. She plans to spend two weeks at a beautiful lodge in northern Minnesota to escape the hustle and bustle of the congested city and forget about her failed marriage. However, a mix-up during registration leads her to an unexpected adventure – a ten-day canoe camping trip through the rugged wilderness of the Boundary Waters with a diverse group of campers.
Despite her stylish new hiking boots, Emma is clearly inexperienced when it comes to camping. Luckily, she receives assistance from a skilled and handsome teammate. Mark, who is seeking solace in nature following a recent loss, also takes part in the Boundary Waters canoe adventure. As they navigate miles of open water, unpredictable storms, encounters with bears, and challenging portages, Emma and Mark find themselves drawn to each other.
Their connection grows stronger as they face the obstacles and dangers of the wilderness together. However, the true test lies in whether they can overcome their emotional barriers and open their hearts to each other. The spark between them burns hotter than any campfire, but they must learn to trust and support each other if they hope to make it through the Boundary Waters adventure and explore the depths of their feelings for one another.
